THE COMPANY:
Our client is an established industrial supply company focusing on providing high-quality industrial products and exceptional service to clients in the pulp/paper, grain, cement, recycling, heavy machinery OEMs, renewable energy, and energy transmission industries. As a small, family-owned business, they are poised for growth and are looking to hire a long-term sales professional to take over for the Owner/Sales Person who is looking to move into semi-retirement.
Role Overview:
The North America Territory Manager position is a pivotal role within their organization, reporting directly to the founder and sales leader.
THE JOB:
Shadow the owner to understand the sales approach and gradually take over the North American territory.
Manage accounts, close inbound leads, and generate new business through outbound prospecting efforts.
Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from clients, coordinating with internal teams to provide accurate information and solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Provide exemplary customer service by addressing client needs promptly and effectively.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5 years of experience in industrial component sales
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Technical knowledge of power transmission machinery preferred but not required
Familiarity with industrial gearbox applications and related brands is a plus
Willingness to engage in warehouse activities such as lifting boxes and operating a forklift
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
