Lows 50s. Obituaries Roxana Robertson ST. HELENA Roxana Dabney Robertson, 61, prominent in San Francisco social circles and coowner of Main Street Books: in St. Helena, died at her home Sunday after a four-year battle with cancer. Mrs.
Robertson was born on Nov. 14, 1926, in Pasadena and grew up in the Santa Barbara area. In 1943, she married William Abbott Robertson a prominent San Franciscan. The couple lived in San Francisco while operating a cattle ranch in Santa Barbara and later one in Sonoma County from 1945 to 1959. They also raised quarter horses at their Sonoma ranch.
In 1959, Mr. and Mrs. Robertson bought a ranch near St. Helena and lived there and in San Francisco. Mr.
Robertson died in 1976. Mr.
Pilling was born in Vallejo on Sept. 2, 1968, and grew up in Napa, attending Salvador Elementary School, Redwood Junior High School and Vintage High School. Since high school. Mr. Pilling had worked in construction and as a house painter.
He played Pop Warner Football and was a member of two championship Fly League teams. Mr. Pilling was active in the Merchants Baseball League. He enjoyed water and snow skiing, fishing, hunting, and rock and roll concerts. Mr.
Pilling is survived by his parents, Richard and Ilyne Pilling of Napa; a brother, Mitch of Napa; two sisters, Rikki and Jena of Napa; his grandparents, Vaudine and Carl Widlund of Vallejo; and his grandmother, Esther Miller of Monterey. The Rev. Denis Eucalyptus will conduct services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail. Interment will be at Tulocay Cemetery, Napa.
